Who We Are

On June 30, 2010, A Place for Women opened its doors in the Waipio Shopping Center. We offer women of all ages a safe and supportive environment where they can seek information on many matters surrounding pregnancy and other women's issues.

The center exists to provide women with a line-up of support services such as free onsite pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, pregnancy options counseling, adoption referrals, post-abortive recovery classes, and more.

In 2021, we expanded our services to include a medical mobile clinic that runs under the name, Oahu Pregnancy Center. It has allowed us to take our services into the neighborhoods to reach patients were they live.

As a ministry of Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor, we are a 501(c)(3 )Corporation and all contributions to this ministry are tax deductible. A Place for Women in Waipio / Oahu Pregnancy Center are funded solely by donations and governed by a responsible Board of Directors who establishes policies, monitor the budget, and govern operations.

Because of the generous support of our donors, all of our services are offered free of charge to men and women in out community. All medical services are provided by medical professionals under the supervision of our Medical Director, Dr. Vivien Wong, MD.

What we offer is a place for women to rest their hearts. When women arrive at the center dealing with a possible unexpected pregnancy, they can be so afraid. They don’t need judgment— just caring and the truth.

Our Mission

The mission of A Place for Women in Waipio / Oahu Pregnancy Center is to empower men and women in Hawaii to make healthy life choices in regards to sexuality and child bearing consistent with the sanctity of life.

Our Goal

We have the desire to reach more people with the message of life and hope. With our mobile medical clinic, our desire is to be able to serve vulnerable women/families in the neighborhoods they live.
